MUSIC SUBMISSION CHECKLIST

To ensure a smooth processing of your release, it is vital to complete all the necessary forms. Please note that we no longer accept CDs or DVDs. You can send the content via Dropbox, High Tail, or WeTransfer. However, we prefer content to be sent via Dropbox, as our entire company operates on this platform.

Here’s a checklist of the information we need to ingest and distribute your new release:

  1. 1. Agreement: A completed agreement with each page signed.
  2. 2. Lyrics: Lyrics for all the songs in the project, which are important for pitching your music for license sales.
  3. 3. Artwork: All album covers must be in JPEG format with a resolution of 2000×2000 pixels.
  4. 4. Release Summary: A brief summary of what the release or project is about, including information about the musicians, producers, etc.
  5. 5. Writers: Complete writer information using the attached form for all songs, including copyright information.
  6. 6. License Information: Third-party license information required for licensing your music for film, TV, cable, and ads.
  7. 7. Artist Bio: A detailed artist biography for the release.
  8. 8. Tours and Live Shows: Information about upcoming performances, preferably with a list of shows and dates for the next 12 months.
  9. 9. Useful Information: Any additional relevant information about your new release or media history.
  10. 10. Marketing Budget: An outline of your marketing budget for the new release.
  11. 11. Radio Budget: An outline of your radio promotional budget, including whether you want Blue Pie to provide a proposal for global radio servicing.
  12. 12. Video: Whether you have a video clip.
  13. 13. Video Clip Servicing: If you want Planet Blue Pictures to service your video to their global network, please contact  content@bluepie.com.au and support@bluepie.com.au for approval and further details.
  14. 14. ISRC Codes and UPC Codes: Each release requires these codes, and if you don’t have them, we can allocate them to you free of charge.
